About Blaze Institute
2026–2027 Blaze Apprenticeship Certification Portal Welcome to the certification portal for the 2026–2027 Blaze Apprenticeship. As part of your apprenticeship, you will complete the Blaze Equitable Finance Certification — Level I: Practitioner Foundations, designed to strengthen your ability to understand, evaluate, and apply equitable finance concepts across real-world financial systems, organizations, and communities. The certification includes 12 module assessments covering topics such as user-centered design, credit scoring, digitization, artificial intelligence, program piloting, partnerships, catalytic funding, risk management, organizational design, and strategic roadmapping. Apprentices are expected to study the corresponding Blaze Institute curriculum before completing each assessment. A minimum score of 75% is required on each module assessment. This certification is one component of your broader development as a Blaze Apprentice. The goal is not simply to memorize concepts, but to build the practitioner knowledge needed to contribute meaningfully to client engagements, facilitation, research, program delivery, and the future of finance.
